VARICOSE VEINS

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins occur when veins lose their capacity and are unable to properly return blood, which causes the vein to become enlarged due to pooling of blood. Common symptoms of varicose veins include pain, heaviness, burning, throbbing, itching, tingling, cramping, swelling and restlessness of legs. Many insurance companies will pay for treatment of varicose veins only if they are symptomatic.
